Our room was upgraded, which was a nice surprise and we were first to stay in there after its refurbishment. We also had a lovely view of the castle. Central to explore Edinburgh.

Great location and comfortable
Ideal location. The room was very clean and well presented (thanks to service staff!).
A number of guests seemed to not have their room ready at the check in time advertised and confirmed afterwards on booking com, including me, which wasn't a great start. Otherwise, it was a good hotel and I'd book again.
